Jayne Wijenje, the Senior Education Consultant and Partner - Lead Compass, holds over 34 years of professional experience in the teaching profession progressively advancing into managing service delivery and educational institutions. Jane has worked in several schools over the years teaching mostly British National Curriculum (BNC) and is conversant with the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC).

She previously served as the diploma course tutor for the Kindergarten Headmistresses Association (KHA) Teacher Training Program. Jayne has diplomas in Psychology and Mental health. She also has a certificate in Child Protection from Harvard and a certificate in Child and Adolescent counselling from Amani Counselling Centre and Training Institute.

Jayne currently runs CECE-L (Centre of Early Childhood Education-Lavington) where she consults with head teachers and teachers on specific needs for their schools such through workshops and teaching resources. She also runs a reading, creativity and resource center for children, to inculcate a reading culture from an early age. She enjoys working with teachers, children and parents. She particularly loves Art and Craft.
